Global Leader in Talent Acquisition within OT/ICS/IoT Cybersecurity

Position: Vice President – Sales Enablement

Our client is a market leader in the booming area of Operational Technology (OT), Internet of Things (IoT), and Industrial Control System (ICS) cyber security and is looking globally for a Vice President of Sales Enablement to continue its success!

You will be doing your part to protect human lives as well as millions in revenue by being the focal point for the company to grow revenue in the assigned territory. This will include net new business as well as renewal growth. You’ll support the education, promotion and adoption of a bleeding edge technology to help asset owners protect their Operational Technology or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments. In this role, you will have to be an expert in enterprise security sales, networking, growing net new business in an emerging market and most importantly, a closer.

Key responsibilities: what you will be doing day in and day out

  • Develop a targeted approach that enables the sales team to achieve ramp quota, generate new pipeline, accelerate their deals, engage effectively with executives and ultimately close bigger deals.
  • Build, own and deliver a growing pipeline of training and development programs for the Global Sales organization: from sales fundamentals, deal execution and value selling to CRM best practices and pipeline management – all leading to sales mastery. Your knowledge in these areas will be invaluable to your success.
  • Collaboratively manage and grow the online digital sales assets library in partnership with SMEs throughout company. This will involve the content management of existing assets and the curation of new learning assets and curriculum.
  • Create and deliver scalable sales training programs to address regional needs with an abundance of self-paced video, print resources and other just-in-time learning assets.
  • Align and support the company New Hire program. Partner with internal SMEs and Product Marketing to build an impactful post new hire training program with rich and valuable sales breakout initiatives.
  • Create simulation/role-based/scenario-based interactive learning programs that address the goals, needs and learning priorities set forth by the Sales Leadership.
  • Consistently push the boundaries for high levels of interaction that make the learning stick. Continually reinforce how people learn through “doing” and why this is critical to the overall success of the program.
  • Expect to travel as necessary to facilitate and execute on our training initiatives. Field interaction and assessment in critical to this role.

Key requirements: without these you’re probably not the best fit

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience required
  • 8 -10+ combined years of experience with proven success in a Sales, Sales Support and/or Enablement Management
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Sales role or related experience (IC or Manager)
  • Cross-functional team leadership, influence, management, and alignment experience (Enablement, Field roles, executive leadership, Sales Operations, Business Units, Marketing)
  • Comfort with, and ability to operate at an aggressive, accelerated, iterative pace and in a continual environment of change
  • Objective, solution, and management focused mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills; enjoys inspiring teams, and excels at relationship building and collaboration
  • Diplomacy, integrity, and presence that enables work across all levels within the organization, and a clear understanding of what motivates a sales team
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communications skills including, presenting, editing, and writing as well as accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Understanding of sales operations related enablement with focus on pipeline, opportunity management and forecasting cadence and process as it relates to sales process, skills, and training needs.
  • Understanding of change management principals and application
  • Experience working with Curriculum and/or instructional designers
  • Strong virtual and live events management understanding and oversight
  • Budget development/planning and management aligned to organizational strategy and priorities
  • Cultural awareness / global workforce experience
