Our client is a market leader in the booming area of Operational Technology (OT), Internet of Things (IoT), and Industrial Control System (ICS) cyber security and is looking globally for an IoT Sales Director to continue its success!
We are looking for motivated candidates that have the drive to excel in full-cycle selling from prospecting and building new relationships in IoT.
- Drive new business to support Field Sales teams with targeted experience selling in IoT solutions.”
- Leverage your domain expertise to develop opportunities in specific IoT Use Cases such as: Building Automation and Management, Healthcare and Medical Devices, Smart Cities, and Retail.
- Secure key reference accounts in relevant verticals
- Teamwork & Collaboration – help talented OT sales professionals learn the IoT ropes
- Execute land-and-expand campaigns, from POC to large deployments
- Deliver successfully on enterprise quota targets
- Keep current/past customers apprised of new and exciting products and services
- Industrial focus: Manufacturing, Mining, Telecommunications, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Energy Utilities
- Experience in selling Networking/Security solutions, and comfortable working in startups
- 10+ years of Direct Sales experience, ideally selling to industrial automation, industrial controls, and/or industrial security customers
“Must haves” of the Sales Leader:
- 7+ years of experience selling software-based solutions to enterprise customers, including at least 3 years selling IoT solutions.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills at senior management/executive level
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and networking technologies
- Good communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Good problem finding and solving skills
- Dedicated to achieving goals
- Requires language proficiency in English
- Strong work ethic
- Availability and willingness to travel
